Destinations in San Luis Potosí are very extensive and varied: to the East, the climate is hot and tropical; the Centre occupy the dry plains, while the West is rugged and mountainous. The Regional Museum of Popular Art (open from Tuesday to Sunday; paid entry) is a regional Craft Museum located in a former Franciscan monastery; on the floor above is the very ornate Chapel of Aranzazú, of the 18th century.

Puerto Ángel and Huatulco

The underwater oasis of Yucatán
